The park consists of 1,450 acres of wilderness. Mount Hood, at 2,730 feet, is the highest peak in the Mayacama Mountain range. This was an out-and-back hike to the summit of Mount Hood and a side trip to "Gunsite Rock." The hike started in Sugarloak Ridge State Park, and shortly thereafter the trail entered Hood Mountain Regional Park. Distance: 7 miles. Climb: 2,525 feet. Time on trail: 4 hours, 45 minutes.

Prints Available For Sale
The photographic enlargements are not made with an ink-jet printer. Rather, all prints are professionally processed using photographic paper and chemicals. 12x18 prints are $10 each. 8x10 prints are $7 each. Each digital image is individually adjusted for the best exposure and highest quality using Adobe Photoshop, prior to being printed. In general, the print's quality is superior to the quality of the images displayed in this gallery of photos. The prints can have either a glossy or matt finish, and can be border or borderless. Shipping and handling is $4 per order within the United States, regardless of the number of prints purchased. Shipping charges will be more for photographs sent via international mail.
