On 31 July 2005, we did a 14.5 mile hike on the Dipsea Trail
We started this little ramble in MILL VALLEY at about 10:40 a.m., and hiked 7.25 miles over the southern flank of MOUNT TAMALPAIS to STINSON BEACH. Then, after a short rest on the beach, we turned around and hiked back on the same trail to Mill Valley, arriving at about 6:00 p.m. There was a total elevation gain of 4,460 feet. Approximately 20 hearty souls participated in the hike. The leader of this DIPSEA TRAIL excursion was Lily Tam
