On 30 January I hiked in BRIONES REGIONAL PARK. The park consists of 5,756 acres, and is part of the East Bay Regional Park District which is located in the eastern portion of the San Francisco Bay Area. TRAIL MAP (PDF format) of the park.
I recently acquired a CANON 20D DIGITAL SLR CAMERA, and I have been trying to master all of the options of the camera, which is no easy task! All of the below photographs were taken with the Canon 20D. The panoramic photo is a combination of a number of different photographs, and was combined together using Canon PhotoStitch software.

| Flies copulating. I was focusing my camera on the flowers when this fly flew onto the flower. I looked again, and it wasn't one fly, but two. They totally ignored me since they were obviously preoccupied! | Mount Diablo | |
